April 22nd is Earth Day! Come celebrate and have a good time at the New Orleans Earth Day Festival, presented by The Louisiana Bucket Brigade and sponsored by The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living, The Gulf Restoration Network, the Gambit, and The Big Easy Rollergirls.For only $10, from 9pm to 2am at the Maison on 508 Frenchmen Street, you can sample live music from N'awlins Johnnys, One Mind Brass Band, and Big Sam's Funky Nation. WTUL DJs will be spinning World, Funk, Soul, and Latin Music upstairs all evening.
The entry fee will benefit "Bucket" air sampling and the Environmental Justice Corps Fellowship.
