Volunteer for The Big Easy Rollergirls

The Big Easy Rollergirls want you to be involved!


We are having a volunteer orientation February 2nd from 7PM to 8PM at Skate Country on the Westbank located on 1100 Terry Parkway.

At that time, you will meet with our Volunteer Liaisons, Fleur d’Lethal and Coalminer's Slaughter.

Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to the following: track assembly and breakdown, ticket taking, handing out programs, directing foot-traffic, assisting with security, and general clean-up.

REQUIREMENTS: Be reliable and on time, attend the volunteer orientation, and have a "Viva La Derby" attitude!

In exchange for your awesome derby spirit, you will be able to see part of the action on bout day, get to meet the Rollergirls and attend special BERG only parties, and receive a free volunteer shirt.

Cajun Rollergirls' Motley Masquerade!



Come join one of our sister leagues, The Cajun Rollergirls this Saturday, January 31st at 9PM for their Motley Masquerade!

This events features music by Americanos, The Ta Ta Detroyers, and Mellowberry

This funky formal takes place at Piazza Bar located at 541 Corporate Drive


There will be Cajun Rollergirls, Raffle, Prizes, Games, Dirty Joke Contest. You can even test your luck and spin The Wheel of Misfortune!

We hope to see everyone out to support one of our newest derby leagues!

The Big Easy Rollergirls’ All Stars take on The Houston Rollergirls' All-star travel team, The HaRD Knocks Saturday, January 24th at UNO’s Human Performance Center (on the corner of Elysian Fields and Leon C. Simon)



The doors open at 6 PM, the action starts at 7PM.

Featuring halftime music by Slang Angus.




Tickets are $10 IN ADVANCE ($5 for kids 12 and under) and $12 at the door.

Our charity of the month is Planned Parenthood. Bring a donation from their Wishlist and we will give you a 10%-off coupon for Big Easy Rollergirls merchandise!

Pussyfooters' Blush Ball!




Join the Pussyfooters this Friday, January 16th at Mardi Gras World for their Blush Ball.

The Pussyfooters are a group of women who take every opportunity to dress up in their pinkest and finest and celebrate everything that makes up the glorious sisterhood of the universe. They can be seen marching in the Krewe of Muses, Krewe of Oak during Mardi Gras and cheering for The Big Easy Rollergirls at our home bouts!

The Blush Ball features Big Sam's Funky Nation, DJ Butterfoot, Mardi Gras Indians, The Pussyfooter's Costume Debut, and of course, The Big Easy Rollergirls! There will also be a cash bar, raffles, food, and libations.

The event runs for 8PM to Midnight. Tickets are only $20 in advance online or from Miss Claudia's Vintage Clothing Store at 4204 Magazine St. Tickets are $25 at the door.

A portion of the proceeds from tonight's event goes to benefit METRO: Metropolitan Center for Women and Children. This organization has been in operation since 1986. They offer services throughout the Greater New Orleans area for survivors of domestic violence, stalking and assault.
So kick off the Mardi Gras season right by partying for a good cause!

Our derby sisters, Red Stick Roller Derby is having their Inaugural Brawl, Saturday, January 17th against The Beach Brawl Sk8er Dolls

The bout is at The Baton Rouge River Center located downtown at 275 River Road South.
The doors open at 5:30pm and the action starts at 6:30.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, $15 for VIP Seating.

The Confederacy of Punches in Gulfport!


Come out this Saturday, January 10th to Gulfport to see last years Fan Favorite team, The Confederacy of Punches take on Mississippi Rollergirls!

The bout takes place at Harrison County Skate Park, located at 269 De Buys Road. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
Doors at 6PM and bout action starts at 7PM.
