New Orleans Rugby: Seven and O, with One to Go!
A showdown is shaping up in Gretna!

The New Orleans Rugby club, a men's amateur travel team representing
the Crescent City, faces league rival Memphis at home on March 29 for
the final game of the season.

The New Orleans team is currently 7-0, having prevailed over all other
teams in its league so far this season.
A win for New Orleans this Saturday will give the home team an
undefeated 8-0 regular season and the title of Deep South division
champion.
A win will also clinch a home field venue for the New Orleans team in
the first round of the national championship playoffs, which begin in
April.
The home team beat Memphis once on the road this season during a very
close and hard-fought game, which ended 12-10. It was the first victory
for New Orleans over Memphis in three seasons competing in the same
league. This Saturday's game is shaping up to be a climactic season
finale between two very well-matched teams with high stakes for each.
What: New Orleans Rugby, the season finale for a thus-far undefeated
local team vying for its division championship
When: Saturday, March 29, noon kick-off (games last approximately 90
minutes and are held rain or shine)
Where: Gretna City Park, 1130 Gretna Blvd. Gretna, La.

Irish Philosophy
In life, there are only two things to worry about—
Either you are well or you are sick.
If you are well, there is nothing to worry about.
But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about—
Either you will get well or you will die.
If you get well, there is nothing to worry about.
But if you die, there are only two things to worry about—
Either you will go to heaven or hell.
If you go to heaven, there is nothing to worry about.
And if you go to hell, you’ll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends,
you won’t have time to worry! The parade starts around 5:30-6ish, so make sure you get there in time to watch some of your favorite rollergirls!Oh, he occasionally takes an alcoholiday.-- Oscar Wilde
