City Park Clean Up

Straight on the heels of Mardi Gras, The Big Easy Rollergirls descended upon City Park early Saturday morning on February 24th to help clean up their sculpture garden. Crusty McKnuckle who arranged the event said, "Cleaning up the Sculpture Garden at City Park was such a unique experience. I loved being able to actually clean the pieces and get down and dirty with the artwork. It allowed us a really special interaction with the sculptures, that not many other people get to have. Where else would I ever be able to clean bird pooh off of a Rodin?"

The rollergirls pulled weeds, picked up trashed and polished sculptures. Although there is still a lot of work to be done, they definitely made a difference.
