BERG models new Dirty Coast T-Shirt
The Big Easy Rollergirls were guest models for Dirty Coast Press newest t-shirt, The 12th Man, photographed by Zack Smith.
There is a reason why the Superdome is feared by other teams. It is the fans, the 12th man. The question isn’t “how ya gonna clap?”, its “how damn loud can you be?”
Printed on tri-blend, this Saints pride shirt comes in all sizes for men and women and is only $25.
The 12th man is a term commonly used to describe the fans within a stadium during football (soccer) or American football games. Since most football leagues allow a maximum of eleven players per team on the playing field at a time, the term denotes the attempt of a team’s fans to help their team. In American football, the term is trademarked by and originated with Texas A&M University in 1922.
For more info on Dirty Coast, like them on their Facebook page for their latest NOLA pride t-shirts or visit them at their shop on 5704 Magazine Street.

Fundraiser for MS
The Big Easy Rollergirls and The Rolling Elvi are once again climbing on their bikes and joining forces to raise money for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society in their Louisiana Bike MS event. Our fearless BERG and Elvi will ride 150 miles in two days in an attempt to eradicate this debilitating disease.
On Friday, September 24th they will be hosting a fundraiser at Finn McCools located at 3701 Banks Street. They will have a bevy of games: Full-Contact musical chairs, Flip Cup, Twister, Jeopardy, and The Dating Game with BERG and Elvi!
They will also have a raffle and silent auction with many wonderful prizes such as a Jamis Commuter 2.0 Bike, a Paris Parker Gift Certificate, Air hockey table, Fine Art Pieces and much much more.
We will also have food from Woody's Tacos and a shot special.
Skip Foreplay will lend his stellar announcing skills for this worthy event!
Fleur de Lethal, who also participated in last year's run, states, As a derby player, 80% of the time it's about getting up after getting knocked out of bounds. It's part of the game I choose to play. For someone with MS, getting knocked out of bounds is not something cured. It affects every aspect of their life, it's unpredictable and it wasn't asked for. I've registered for the MS Bike Tour because I want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because I want to do everything to prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this disease.
TEAM BERG 2010 consists of Jas Lounge, Fleur d'Lethal, Ann goLA, Persephone Danger, Deuce McMaliceHer, MILF Duds, and Megumi Nasty!
You can also give your tax-deductible donation directly to TEAM BERG'S PERSONAL PAGE to help them reach their goal.
