BERG History

On Sunday, December 9th, history was made. F.N. Trouble of The Marigny Antionettes got the first official Big Easy Rollergirl tattoo.

Trouble and Sleasy before

Inside Freaky Tiki

Under the steady hands of Scott Allen of Freaky Tiki Tattoos located at 2327 Veterans Blvd in Kenner, Trouble withstood six hours under the needle to emerge with a breathtaking new design on her leg. Trouble worked with Scott on her image, and hand drew the original design.

DONE! GORGEOUS!

Scott, a tattoo artist with Freaky Tiki for over ten years, is also a freelance artist and watercolorist with frequent shows in L.A.

Some of Scott's Paintings

His artwork has been featured in various magazines nationally and internationally. And aside from being an accomplished artist, Scott is also a Big Easy Rollergirl fan and has been a supporter of the league since the very beginning: whether he is a somewhat alternative cheerleader at the bouts with Sharky, a naughty Santa at the Christmas parties, or generous donor of tattoo gift certificates for some of our fundraiser, Scott has always been a stalwart in the success of BERG.

Scott is extending his generosity and patronage of roller derby and offering a 30% discount on tattoos for any active derby member. All you need to do is show your USAR card (any state, any league, any team). You can bring your own design, choose from the multitudes they have available at their shop, or collaborate with Scott for a personal one.
