May 16th Double-Header!

On Saturday, May 16, 2009 The Big Easy Rollergirls Season Finale, Double Header will commence at UNO's Human Performance Center located on the corner of Leon C. Simon and Elysian Fields.

Doors at 5:30. Tickets are $10 IN ADVANCE and $12 at the door.

At 6 p.m. sharp the Crescent Wenches take on The StoryVillains;

Following this momentous bout, at 7 p.m, The Confederacy of Punches will battle Baton Rouge's Red Stick Roller Derby

As usual, we will have the lovely and delightful Pussyfooter Cheerleaders 

and The Krewe of The Rolling Elvi on hand for your enjoyment.

Halftime entertainment will be provided by The G-String Bluegrass Band.

We will also be accepting arts and crafts supplies as well as school supplies for  Ogden's Summer Art Camps! 

The New Orleans Bulls will have a table set up for San Fermin in Nueva Orleans will be celebrated from July 10 - July 12, featuring the Encierro (with The Big Easy Rollerbulls) on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at precisely 8:00 a.m.

Afterparty at Finn McCools located at 3701 Banks Street in Mid City promises: free food, dancing with rollergirls, D.J., cheap drinks, and sexy bartenders!

Summer is quickly approaching and that mean's it's time for The Ogden's Sippin' in Seersucker, an evening of Southern art, cocktails, live music, delicious cuisine, fashion and shopping.

Friday, May 15th from 6 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Shops at Canal Place located at 333 Canal St.

 For only $25 (Ogden Museum members) or $35 (nonmembers) a ticket, partygoers will receive:

Entertainment by The Iguanas and Los Po-Boy-Citos.

Hors d'oeuvres from more than 14 local restaurants and libations (including mint juleps) from Republic National Distributing and Cafe Adelaide and the Swizzle Stick Bar.

The Big Easyrollergirls hosting Finn McCool's Pub Quiz

Join some of The Big Easy Rollergirls this Monday, May 11th as they guest star as celebrity hosts of Finn McCool's  legendary Monday night Pub Quiz! Located in Mid City at 3701 Banks St, this week's theme will be Rock-n-Roll! 

The fun starts at 8PM sharp and are typically standing room only so be sure and get there early. The rollergirls need some room to roll... and rock!

 Finn McCool's will be offering 5 Domestic Longnecks for $8 and 5 Import Bottles for $12. They will have loads of prizes and the winner will receive a $20 bar tab AND 2 tickets to our May 16th Bout!
